I'm sorry but I have no idea which template I was using back then; if it was the gray one - I am modifying by myself to get it back to compatibility stage; if it was another (the zkboi template) - that one is exclusively only for the zkboi website; with all due respect..

First of all I'd like to say, great article! I've got a big question bothering me, I really like the design of your site and tried to download the same theme on my Worpdress blog. However, there is some kind of strange php error in the footer. Do you have any tips, what settings are you using? Please PM me on Twitter @HealthTipz or per e-mail.

I sure like to go deeper into this; to create or install a template for those with bad vision and color blindness. Are it the colors or the backgrounds which make it difficult to read or are there any aspects I should look out for?

The goal is to deliver "the message" to anyone around the world; that includes those with vision problem; so I'd sure like to fix this for the future for you and any other visitors.

I like that :), (at least the bits I could make out easily). I suffer from color blindness (tritanopia to be exact). I mainly use Opera browser (no idea if that matters), and a lot of this site is tricky for me to make out. I know it is my problem to deal with, in truth, nonetheless it would be nice if you could take into account us color challenged types when doing your next site redesign.

Hi zkboi,

The words in your blog post are indeed bitter, but not necessarily negative. Rather than putting a blame on certain "interest groups", you seem to try spreading awareness of what's happening to all of us as a society.

People do live in bubbles... blissfully unaware of their effect on others. Grouped together, we tend to deny our own stupidity. Traffic jams, pollution, poverty, disaster, fear, doubt, aggression... is beyond our control. Mostly because for the past few years, a lot of focus is put on consumption. You have to buy stuff to belong to a group. Be assertive, buy a house, buy a car, watch the news, have a well-toned body and use the perfumes, make-up, ... hell, they even sell man-bags these days!

This misleading over-focus on a "cool" personality and individuality really pushes people into believing they have a choice in this world. Smoking and drinking is popular too, but it probably won't make you a better person... How does consuming something make one great?

The real reality can be read between the lines of your blog post. No one really has control over the situation, or control over their damaging effects on the surroundings. They live in a smaller world... a shiny, bubbly world.
To see the real truth, you first need to give up your individuality, your ego, and your plans. This way you can see what you are really doing, and that you are no different than the others who try to dream their way through life, one day at a time.

Personally, I just became an IT freelancer. I quit my job at my company because I realized that I have been sleeping for several years. They trick you into believing there is progress and promotion, while you are actually locking yourself up in your warm, little bubble. As a 30 year old guy, I felt that it was the right time for taking matters into my own hands. To wake up, and be creative again. After all, it is security and over-confidence that makes us fall asleep.

You have reminded me of one of my favorite quotes: "Life is a series of collisions with the future; it is not the sum of what we have been, but what we yearn to be."
